Love this bookcase!

This is a solid piece of furniture and looks great in a corner! It isn't cheap, but it is really functional. Our daughter loves displaying photos and keepsakes in the cubbies while still storing her books in the larger sections. Great purchase.

Great design, quality - Color off, wish deep shelf

This bookshelf is great, it has lots of space and seems very sturdy. My 4 year old can move it around and we organized all her books and some of her stuffed toys very nicely.
But I agree with the other reviewer, the color is off, not a true white, more like eggshell or light cream color. I have white items from the Beadboard collection and the color is not the same. I'm still keeping it due to the other great features. Another improvement that could be made is some (not all) shelves to be a bit deeper, for the wider toddler/preschool age books. Although I think the shelves depth is probably fine for older kids/teens.
Still worth the 5 stars, but please PBTeen, fix the color description!

Great Bookcase- color off

I love this bookcase. It is sturdy and well built. I am sure it will last for many years. My only complaint is that the color is NOT a true white- it is more of a cream color as opposed to bright white. I asked when I ordered it if it was a true white and the Customer Service Rep assured me it was. I did not buy other bedroom pieces from Pottery Barn so the color doesn't quite match. I will not pay to return it and other than the color being slightly off- we both love it. I am hoping when it is filled with my daughter's things it will be less noticeable. Delivery people were wonderful.

Different and practical
June 21, 2011
Ordered this for my 11 year old daughter. There's enough room to fit her books, trophies, dolls, and other items she wants to display. Even with a full bookcase, it's still not too difficult to revolve it. The only downside is it's a hassle to dust and clean all those cubbies.

This bookshelf is phenomenal. I have loved every minute of it. They deliver it to you all put together (downside being you cannot take it apart). I have displayed all my books and there is still extra room. There are many nooks and crannies. This is the best buy you could ever make. It is something I will have forever!

My daughter wanted this item the minute she spotted it in the PBteen catalog. I love this bookshelf! It is very sturdy and well constructed. There are enough shelves for books that we no longer have find them scattered around the house. She can display her picture frames, trophies and snow globe collection My daughter will have this bookshelf for many years to come well into her teens--she's 11 now. Without a doubt, a very solid purchase and so unique! Thank you PBteen!!!

Bought this for my little girl who is only 3, but she loves having all her toys and books displayed on it... she will definitely enjoy this well into her teen years... I got it within 1 week, courteous delivery men, and it is very well made... I couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Revolving Bookcase

The revolving bookcase is all I hoped it would be. It fits in the corner of my daughters room and looks great, it matches her other furniture. I am very happy with this purchase. I have never been disappointed with any of my Pottery Barn purchases.

My daugher's personal display and brag case!

Frankly we were all very suprised by the revolving bookcase. It is much sturdier than we had imagined which is a very good thing! It also turns very well and the objects stored within the various size shelves stay put! We love it and are very pleased with this purchase. It was definitely worth the price! My daughter has enjoyed displaying her most special books, knick knacks, trophies, art work, medals, pictures, sculpures, and much more.... And there's still room to add down the road! The Needhams

This product will look great in any room wanting style. It's love at first sight! We are very happy and assembling it was easy as pie! Also we would recomend this to anyone who needs a lot of space of their books. It's perfect I hope you like it as much as i do!
