Disappointed in these!

I love Pottery Barn and I think their products are always top quality, which is why I am willing to pay their higher prices. However, I bought 2 of these for myself and I am very disappointed. The first thing I noticed, was that the frames have gaps that do not show in the picture that you see on this website. I first thought it had been damaged in the shipping but then realized that it was designed that way. The gap on the right side is much larger than the gap on the left side which makes it look as if the frame is broken. The second thing I noticed was the size of the frame area. I bought these to display my kids artwork but there is no way that any of their artwork would fit into the super small slits that they have to slide the picture inside. Lastly, (and most important) the wood is very thin and the overall product just isn't what you would expect from Pottery Barn. I opened these today and they will be going back tomorrow!

Easy to Hang and Change out pictures!

Love the clever hanging method this has! Finally a place to display and change out those vacation photos! Easy enough to open and change individual pictures without having to take the whole unit down! Bought these to flank the wall mounted bead board shelves. Looks great!

We didn't hang these up yet because we're unsure if we're keeping them. The color we chose was white but they look cream or off white and don't match the white molding color.

Great frames

These frames are even nicer in person than pictured in catalogue. Very heavy, good quality-& super easy to hang. I have purchased 8 of them now! The only downfall is that one of them arrived with the plexiglass scratched.

Pricey But Perfect

Purchased 3 -- on the pricey side but exactly what I was looking for.
This will save my walls as my daughter hangs her Selena, Miley, Demi, Jonas Bros, etc... pictures up on her walls.
She can easily change the pictures herself as often as she likes.
Each frame holds a mag page nicely. As she grows up, she can change out to photos of 'real' people.

I bought a photobox frame and loved it so much I asked for 2 more for Christmas. When they arrived I was very disappointed. Although they are lighter(better for walls) the finish doesn't match the previous years model and the quality seems very poor. The frame is also not the same size, yet the price is the same. If PB is going to cheapen the quality then the price should also be lowered. Do not purchase these if you are planning on putting them with previous models.

Not the same!

I ordered one of these frames last summer for my daughters room. We loved it so we decided to order two more for this past Christmas. The two arrived but where not the same. One match the frame from last summer the other did not. We sent it back to PB Teen. They sent a replacement and it was the same as the one we sent back. Customer service has no idea. So frustrated! I quess two will have to do. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ! PRODUCT NOT THE SAME!

Beautiful, Easy and organized

Absolutely LOVE these. Glad that we waited until they were on sale (although it was a long wait) and even on sale they were still pricey, but I love them. I'm so glad the used plexiglass instead of real glass. When you have it in your possession you'll see why. You won't be dissapointed! We bought two and use them in the play room. We put one on either side of a bulletin board and each one is for artwork of each of our kids. Very easy to use and look classy.

Great frames

I was really glad PB Teen had a sale on these, would not get them otherwise. They are a really fine product, everything came packaged perfectly and intact. I love the convenience of changing kids' art without having to get it off the wall.
I was a little bit disappointed that the espresso color is not as dark as I thought it was going to be. It is more like a rich cherry color, pretty but was really hoping for it to be darker, Nevertheless I kept them due to the good deal. I would recommend this product if you can get it while it's on sale.

New Vendor Not as Good

Over the last few months I have purchased 11 of these 3frame photobox picture frames. I loved them and so did the rest of the family. I decided I wanted two more, so I ordered them from pbteen. They now have a new vendor supplying them. If I had never seen the old photoboxes from the original supplier, I probably wouldn't be so disappointed. The new photoboxes are still nice but just don't compare to what they were. They hang different, dimensions are different, quality is subpar. Just like everything else, we seem to get less for the same amount or more money.

These frames look great and were a cinch to hang. We hung 3 sets vertically with space between to fill a wall in our playroom. My kids love seeing their "art" on display and the opening frames make it easy to switch out pictures. Happy with this purchase!
