Tufted Ottoman Bed

great ottoman/bed-not so much

When using this product as an ottoman, it is wonderful. However, the foam bedding is hard as a rock.

ottoman cot

The cot is cute but the color a brighter pink than I expected. Also the mattress for the cot is in two pieces and is not that comfortable. It is a great product idea though and will come in handy for kids sleep overs.

love this ottoman bed!

I had been watching this for about a year and considering it as alternative to our trundle bed for my kids sleepover friends etc. We finally purchased it and absolutely love it..super easy to put together and pull out and put away..looks great and works great and now my two kids fight over who can sleep on it ;)

Not a Mattress

I bought this ottoman bed when I moved into a one bedroom apartment so that way guests would have somewhere to sleep. I also had a friend living with me only for two months, so we figured it would be a cheap and easy way to sleep two in a small apartment. This furniture piece is very misleading. The "mattress" is literally just a piece of dense foam (in two pieces!) Without any mattress toppers, it is horribly hard and almost unusable. The frame is nice and sturdy, but that is all you are paying for. I would definitely caution anyone considering buying this to really think long and hard who would be sleeping on this, especially for any extended amount of time.

Just Right Size for Our Room

I ordered 2 ottomans, and they are just the right size for a small room. When made into a bed, the ottoman sleeper is very small - the information states that twin sheets fit, but that's only the length. After folding the extra sheet width under the mattress, the sheet tended to stay in place.
A 9-year-old girl weighing about 55 pounds slept on this bed, and she stated that the mattress was too hard and narrow. I tested the mattress (I'm 5' 6" and over 200 pounds), and it did not give under my weight at all. That's a good thing for an ottoman, but not for a mattress. However, to solve that problem, I purchased mattress toppers that provide some softness. You will appreciate the compactness of the ottoman bed, but I'm not sure your guests will care for the ottoman bed unless they are very young and can handle sleeping on a rock-hard surface. I rated this item a 4 as I expect only younger guests will use it, AND it truly is nice to use for seating.

Pretty, Not Comfy

When I got the ottoman, I was really amazed at ow large it was! It was pretty to look at and comfy to sit on. When I needed to sleep on it, I just opened it up and set up the bed. Easy! Then, when I sat on the mattress, I was really disappointed. It was really hard, and it just didn't let your body sink into it. I couldn't figure out how to use the little rope latch thingy, but that's probably because I lost the directions. I would not recommend this to a friend because I couldn't sleep well. Also, the mattress was folded when the ottoman was folded up, so it kept folding back up when I lied down! Great look, very uncomfortable.

Great Extra Sleep Space

I really like this for sleepovers or whenever else. It is a great seat after folding up, which is done with ease. My only complaint is that it stains easily.

It's Practical

I really like this piece of furniture because it doubles as an extra sleeping space. It folds out easily into a comfy bed, with very little hassle. My only complaint is that the slipcover is VERY easily stained, and it's almost impossible to clean. I will probably keep this item around for a long time, but it's been a year and a half since I got it, and it already needs a new slipcover.
