Vanity is beautiful once my husband put it up. We had ordered the Chelsea desk and hutch approximately 2 years ago and now my daughter wanted to add the vanity. When the delivery company came to deliver and install the vanity, they could not as they did not have the brackets that needed to be attached to the desk. I was told it would have been sent with the desk when originally delivered. They left the vanity on the floor of my 13 year old's room and said they could probably find the parts at the warehouse. Spoke to their supervisor three times who told me he was working on it ... 2 weeks later I finally spoke to PBT Delivery Dept who informed me that I was getting the run around because that was a part that did not come separate. I could not order it. Long story short, I found the pieces and my husband put it up but I can't believe that if it requires a specific piece to install, it cannot be purchased. I was willing to purchase another.

This is a lovely and very sturdy piece of furniture. Dimensions offered in the product description are accurate. The service used by PB Teen was a little disorganized in handling the delivery and for the high fees charged for delivery, I expected high quality service. Some of the smaller drawers do not glide very smoothly because they simply sit inside the openings and do not have metal or wooden grooved tracks onto which drawers are commonly fitted. This is why I rated 4 stars. However, still satisified and have ordered the Chelsea Chair to complete the set.

We bought this for my daughter and she loves it. It was a little expensive but we couldn't find another vanity that was this nice or met all of our needs. It's a great size and the drawers are great to store all of her things. She can use it as a desk or vanity.

AWESOME, but...

this is a great vanity set and i love it, but its really overpriced!! i bought it because i knew i earned it after getting good grades, but seriously! it ate up all my money and takes up a bunch of space in my room.

i love this!

when i was looking on line for a desk, i was looking for something that i could use to do my hair and makeup in the morning, and do my homework after school and this is great 4 all that!!!!! i no its a little pricey, but it is sooo worth the money. i am soo happy i have this! the only reason i didnt give it 5 stars is because it is big and eats up the wall in my room. i wish it was a little smaller.

Beautiful, but.....

This desk/vanity is beautiful and well made. Worth the price since I did show at local chain furniture stores. I bought this for my 12 yo duaghter and she loves it. however the hutch is very deep, If you set it on the desk with the backs of both items flush you only have about 12 inches of writing space --not enough for home work! We were able to make it work by pushing the hutch about 6 inch off the back of the desk. It is sturdy enough that the hutch is not tipping. Somewhat of a design flaw i think.

This vanity is just what I needed for college. I got the desk hutch as well as the mirrors and it is great. the best combination of my school things and my makeup that I could ask for.
Its great for keeping things organized and the blue looks great in my room. I would recommend this to anyone

Beautiful Chelsea Vanity

Pictures don't do this desk/vanity justice. My daughter received this as a gift for her birthday and fell instantly in love with it. I on the other hand was impressed by the overall quality as well as the versatility of this piece of furniture

So pretty and functional

Got it for my daughter. She loves it and complements her room. Plenty of drawers and functional. Compared on line and also in the furniture stores, but chelsea vanity beat out other competitors. Only downside is shipping and delivery charges are almost $300.

A Beautiful White Vanity!!!

My Mom and Dad purchased this vanity for me after a year and a half of searching for a white vanity for my room. I am a very organized person, so I wanted something that was functional, but had a sense of style for my green and black & white bedroom. (Believe it or not this was the hardest piece of furniture to find for my room) This vanity is absolutely perfect! It has an ideal amount of storage, and is very stylish. I was slightly worried that the color of the vanity was going to be an antique white, but it is really a pure white to match all of my other furniture! The quality of the vanity also was superb. I really really love my vanity and would definitely, 100% recommend it to a friend. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Love this Desk

I am very happy with the Chelsea Desk - it's a great size - plenty wide but not too deep. I use it in my office for my computer - not a laptop so it has to be big enough for a keyboard, mouse and computer (iMac with 15" screen) and my printer fits on it too! The color is perfect - looks just like the catalogue and online picture (I got the blue) and love the distressed finish. It's very solid and is a classic style so will be around for a very long time! I've always been satisfied with my Pottery Barn purchases.
